Hello Internet

I'm sitting here wondering what to write for my first post, which leads me to the even bigger question...Why write at all? Why do so many people author some sort of blog? It seems to me that everybody feels like they have something to share - their own story to tell, their own thoughts to discuss. But people may not always have a lot of opportunities to do so, or maybe they just want to do it on a bigger stage. So we turn to the blogs, shouting whatever we have to say into cyberspace, and see who will listen.

I guess that's the purpose of this blog. It's my shout into cyberspace, and hopefully you'll find it worth visiting every now and then. I'll do my bit of sharing, and if one of my posts ever compels you to comment, I hope you do so. So basically this is just a hello. Good to be here. And if you keep coming back, I will do my best to make it tear-jerking, hysterical, and life changing (well sorta).
